A deposit of 25% is required to confirm the booking. The balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the departure date. For tours booked less than 30 days in advance, the balance is due 48 hours prior to departure.
Cancellations must be received in writing. The following forfeitures apply:
+90 Days prior to trip departure: 0-25% of the total booking cost
90-46 Days prior to trip departure: 50% of the total booking cost
45-32 Days prior to trip departure: 75% of the total booking cost
31 days of less prior to trip departure: 100% of the total booking cost
If a client fails to join a booked tour, or leaves prior to its completion, no refund will be given unless by prior arrangement.
Deep South Tours , and in turn their tour operators, reserve the right to cancel a tour if the minimum number of passengers is not met. In this event, all monies and deposits received will be runded. This constitutes the full extent of the company's liability.
Refunds or compensation will not be given to the client if we are forced to cancel or change the trip in anyway due to force majoure. Namely; war, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or any other external conditions beyond our control.
No employee or representative of Deep South Tours or their contracted tour operators have aright to alter or vary any terms and conditions, or to undertake any liability of any kind on behalf of Deep South Tours, unless in writing and signed by the Director of Deep South Tours or the contracted tour operator.
Travel and cancellation is imperative for all clients. Before joining a tour, clients must arrange their own insurance with a reputable insurer, which covers the duration of the tour for the following: personal injury, medical experience.
